Does anyone remember our class trip from June of 1981 ? If so, you may recall some of these pics. Can anyone guess where the views from the windows were taken from ? We won't see these views again. Can anyone name all of the people in all of these pics ? Anyway, just thought I would share some of these old memories with all of you. Hope you enjoy !

Great pictures Patty! They're from the top of the WTC, aren't they? :-(
I recognise most of the faces in the pictures (I think). For some reason when I look at them I hear the theme song to "Fame" in my head!
i think the music is coming from Lauri's collar.
great pics Patty!
Thanks so much for posting these pictures, Patty; they are priceless!
Okay, Vicki, get with IDing because I can't place everyone! :-)
I did remember it was the WTC though. I still have a cedar box with a postcard laminated to the top of it that says "World Trade Center, New York City" that I bought on that trip. For the longest time, it seemed like a silly thing to have but I'm sure glad I have it now.
I'll take a stab at that middle picture......from the left...Deanna, Michelle Churetta, Laurie Machette, Danielle Ebert, Lisa Harrigle and Lisa Pillar in the back with red I can't think of the girl on the far right.
She looks like my cousin, Colette, but she was a grade ahead of us. Was it just our class on the trip or was it 7th and 8th grades?
the girl on the right is helen bartholomew
Didn't we also go to the Statue of Liberty???
no we went to the Museum of Natural History I beleive.
Hello all,
I'm glad you are enjoying the pics. It was a trip to New York. I remember being so high up that the cars down below looked like matchbox cars in a toy city and thought that was a cool picture. I'm glad I took the pictures I did 'cause now I can share them with my son and tell him the whole story. Maryjo is right. We went to the Museum of Natural History, but not the Statue of Liberty. I have pics from the museum too, but they were kinda dark. As far as your guesses Maryjo, you had all right except two. Kristen got the one you did not know(it was Helen). The one next to Deanna is not Michelle Churetta----it is Kim Foster. Believe it or not,Maryjo, you are in pic #4. Can you remember with who? The other person in pic #1 was Ann Hricak. I agree with you Donna. I only wish I had more than just a few pictures. Who would've thought our world would cahnge so much. Anyway, if I can find more pics I'll post them. For now keep guessing MJ.
I thought that might be me but the picture is so dark and what the hell am I wearing. I have no idea what ESM on the hat is. I don't recall ever wearing baseball hats for that matter. Anyone know what ESM is??? I know Terri Knerr and Brenda Jacksits no idea on the other girl.....Help me again Kristen
thought is was you in the cap, mj, but sorry..pic is too dark to see who that is to your right...i did pick up on Brenda, but not Terri
Guess we all changed a bit since school days. Sorry the picture is a bit dark, but good guessing MJ. Since Kristen doesn't know either, it was a girl by the name of Melissa Clewell. Does that sound familiar to you ? I don't have a clue what ESM stands for either, or if you wore baseball hats often, but you were wearing one that day. Anyway, thanks for playing the name game. I look forward to seeing you all again real soon at the reunion. 'Til then take care all!
Great pictures, Patty. They bring back such memories. That was a fun trip. Thanks for posting.
Patty, thanks for the pics. I do remember the school trips to NYC. Leaning on the window looking down, the observatory where they told us not to throw any coins over the edge, buying cheesy souvenirs, and climbing up to the crown of the SOL, but not the torch because it wasn't safe.
One of the trips must've been around 1984 because I remember being a pseudo-NC State basketball fan after they won the championship in '83 and buying one of their T-shirts from a street vendor. But who knows, my memory has never been good.
