Okay, we will be serving cookies and milk at the reunion, because we don't wan't any Texas cops coming into the reunion and busting us. I know if we have alcohol, most of us will be viable candidates for the CNN.com article.
what bothers me is that CNN files it under "offbeat News", like it isn't anything to be SERIOUSLY concerned about.
I'm sure long-e will be happy to know that I will not comment on this or any other social studies post.

public drunkeness, open container, citations like these don't concern me - been there and paid those. my concern is that bars are sacred ground for some people, much like churches are for others. seems a bit invasive.

One caveat though. If you have a gun on you when found to be drunk, you are let go.
I think this is just more reason that I chose NOT to move to Texas. This is the states' way to send people to the "POKEY" for the night!! This validates my earlier Steers & Queers post.
