M.Y.R.....T.L.E.....K.U.H.N.S...Myrtel Kuhns (mickey mouse theme song) Remember this???? I bet you are all now humming this tune!!!!

Steve Freeman said...

Some famous Ms. Kuhns' quotes:
"Mike, Gimme the Neighpers, (Neighbors from the Morning Call she thought Muller took)."
"Sands, Back to Study Hall."
"You must go ott the douple doors."
"Who's Mike Hunt (on the sign in sheet)? Has anyone seen Mike Hunt?" The response was a loud, "I don't think so."

And everyone remembers the song, "M-Y-R", "T-L-E", "K-U-H-N-S".
We were such assholes.

Remember someone would blurt out "Myrtle" and then it would be silent again....and then someone else would do it. It drove her nuts.

mathbach said...

can anyone verify that she fell for this?

i think Freeman is getting his highschool memories mixed up with Porkys.

We did torture her pretty bad. Strohly use to drive her crazy. He use to sign in all kinds of fake names. I can remember as a freshman how the seniors tortured her so it was a passing of the torch year to year. Mike Bonds, Joey Jones, Bob Almazan, and some other older classmen were really funny....watching them do some really funny things just to make her go stir crazy. We learned from the best.

randyg said...

Tim - I didn't know that. Was her nephew Mike Hunt? ha ha ha. I know that's pretty terrible of me to say. Oh well.

What's up with the blog lately??? Where has everyone gone????? Is everyone blogged out??? It's been 20 F#@^&*n years people.....are we that bored already???

mj jones said...

Randy while I am sure my brother tormented Myrtle he was not in HS with us at all. Thank god for me. I do remember him and Bondzy driving by and laughing because he wouldn't give me a ride to middle school.
As for the blog it would be nice to see some more new people join in. Do you think Strohly has access in prison???

randyg said...

Middy - how the hell are you. Are you sure they were not seniors when we were freshman? What year did he get out? How is the bus driving thing going? I bet you drive one of those short buses. Maybe you could drive the drunk bus at the reunion.

randyg said...

Where's Mullen?, Longe?, Rusty, Rock, Sands? they're dropping like flies. Matt - what can we do to get people back blogging???? Did Vicki have her baby yet????

Carol (Schleicher) Good said...

Hey, where is everyone! My husband and I were in Williamsburg for a few days last week and now that I am back and catching up with things, no one is around. I miss you guys! I also want to know if Vicki had her baby.

mathbach said...

it seems the love affair with the blog is over. many of the regulars have stopped commenting, and there are a few people who are members but have not yet made a post or comment. Mark Y, Colleen M, Bonnie S, Mike Shuey. mostly i guess the novelty has worn off. i'm open to suggestions.

i'm guessing yes, Vicki has probably had her baby.

mathbach said...

welcome back Carol, how was your trip? post a picture of the family on vacation!

Mcgon said...

Hey "Blogeyman" Randy I am still here. I enjoy reading the posts and lately that is the only thing I can find time to do is read them and go. Besides that I am a Blogstalker waiting for the right moment to post a picture of someone!! By the way are you still up for our annual fishing event. You better start getting permission from your wife now it is in three weeks.

mathbach said...

what is this i hear Robb is coming back from a week long "business" trip and then immediately leaving for the fishing expedition. how does that work? are there any wives out there who can explain this to me?

Carol (Schleicher) Good said...

Hi Matt, had a fun trip without the kids (celebrating our 15th anniversary). Our only pictures were of colonial houses and stuff like that so it wouldn't be very interesting to post. I hope everyone comes back blogging soon.

mathbach said...

w/o the kids? you mean a real grown-up vacation. wow, i can't remember the last time we did that. good for you.

Carol (Schleicher) Good said...

As for the fishing trip right after a business trip...I'm sure his wife doesn't even know about that yet. Robb, you better buy her a really nice present!

Mcgon said...

He is probably at home rubbing her feet right now!

Carol (Schleicher) Good said...

Hi Rock, no blogstalking now, we want to hear from you.

Mcgon said...

How's it going Carol? Great to hear about your 15yrs of being married and your alonetime vacation! We will be married for ten year in May!

mathbach said...

15 years. can anybody beat that? how long have Kristen and Brad been married?

Carol (Schleicher) Good said...

I highly recommend a "grown ups only" vacation. We don't do that very often and it was alot of fun. Rock, do you have any kids? I forget what you said in your bio.

Mcgon said...

Maybe Rusty can beat 15yrs! He has to be close??

Carol (Schleicher) Good said...

I think Kristen and Brad have been married longer, but I'm not sure.

Mcgon said...

Carol- Yes Ryan will be 4 in May. He is testing us right now! They say terrible twos! But the mouth on him has to go!! They have an answer for everything at this age.

Carol (Schleicher) Good said...

That is a very interesting age but it does get better. My youngest just turned 6 and his personality has really changed. All my boys are pretty good thought, except when they start picking on each other.

Vicky said...

Hello everyone!

I'm 2 days late and very, very, very pissed off! If I'd had the little chuff I would have posted a picture of him, but no, he's not coming out!!

I haven't been posting because I've been sleeping a lot. :-/ Also the blog has been very quiet. Where has everyone been?

I need you all to think LABOR and send me some vibes, prayers, thoughts, whatever your thing is. Say it with me "Labor, labor, labor..."

Vicky said...

Seven minutes? I could handle that! :-)

Carol (Schleicher) Good said...

Hi Vicki, sorry you are still pregnant, but it is good to hear from you. I was wondering when that little one was going to make an appearance. I thought we were going to have a live birth here on the blog? Keep us informed!

mj jones said...

Randy......Joey graduated in 82 and like I said I would have known if he was there because he would have tormented me just like he did at home. Bondzy was 83 though. Bus driving is ok it pays for all the extras in life like vacations and stuff. This year we are going to California and I can't wait. I drive a big bus I'll have you know. 54 middle school kids and 46 elementary and some days I want to kill some of them. I have been driving for 4 years and next year I do plan to switch to a mini bus but in East Penn that doesn't mean a tart cart there are alot of areas out here a big bus cant go. As for the reunion I doubt it will be a good idea for me to drive your drunk ass home since I'll be having a few cocktails of my own.

as for Robb his wife is probobly more than happy for him to be gone.

just kidding ;)

mj jones said...

oh and Vicki good luck keep us posted. If you post your delivery that might get some people back on the blog!!!! HAHA

Carol (Schleicher) Good said...

Hi MJ, you must have the nerves of a saint to drive all those Middle schoolers and elememtary kids. I think I would go nuts! But it will be nice when you are in California on vacation. Have fun!

tmmullen said...

Tart cart... Classic...

mj jones said...

some days I do go nuts but its only a few minutes a day when you really think about it. Switching to a mini will mean only a handfull of kids, alot less noise and more peice of mind.

andrea said...

maryjo....hats off to you driving a bus...it feels like that some days at home here with my four all in the car at the same time, the only peace i get is when they all have their ipods in their ears at the same time. thank god for small inventions!

marriage....2 months shy of 17 years and that is all i will say!

kristen said...

Brad and I will be married 14 years in June....and Andrea, does yours really count??!!! and as far as Robb going away again, i share the same sentiments and mj...he's probably more difficult to raise than the girls, so good riddance!!

mj jones said...

technically it still counts....

My wife says " don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out"
Seriously though, I only get out once a year so don't let these guys kid you ! Living with three women makes it even easier to leave..hahaha
Kristen, can Brad go ?

randyg said...

Wow...the blogging is back again....good to see that. See MJ I knew you drove a "helmut" bus. Hey Robb- where we going now??? Lew - I'm gearing up for fishing season. I have to buy all new gear because my brothers took all my stuff. I won't be able to make the first day of trout but will be looking to get out after that.

andrea said...

randy......try to get out like robb and your wife will be like...."randy, the lawn needs to be mowed" and you will be like, "i'll be right there honey!"

kristen said...

Robb, NO WAY!

mathbach said...

K - why? the man works hard all week long so you can stay home and blog! (although you have been blogging less lately)
