any interesting J4 stories/pictures?
we were up in the poconos for the weekend. my wife's aunt has a place on Lake Henry. we took the girls to see fireworks in some little hillbilly town the night before. good stuff. went running at Promised Land State Forest, it never ceases to amaze me how much of Pennsylvania is still untouched wilderness.

Matt,
Where are the lifevests/ arm floaties for the little ones?? Don't tell me you've taught them how to swim already??
Also, what's up with the German post?? I thought you were in a hilbilly town..not a Natzi youth camp. Did you have an extra cabin mate??
Jeff
We went to a bbq at the home of an American friend (who's from Wilkes-Barre!) on July 2nd. There were a few other Americans there (there are lots of us in Yorkshire) and we ate and drank and watched England get knocked out of the world cup. Then we drank some more!
Matt, beautiful girls! I agree about Pennsylvania. My mom's family is from the Poconos, and two years ago I took my daughter whitewater rafting down the Lehigh. Pennsylvania is still one of my favorite places on earth, even if I don't get to visit as much as I'd like these days.
Happy 4th everyone!
nothing exciting going on in Catty this year, just the usual picnicing with family...every couple years when the 4th falls on a weekend we have celebrations at the N. Catty and Catty playgrounds with vendors and games and fireworks...we'll have to make our own fun this year...Happy 4th!
That's a georgous photo of your girls! We went to the zoo this morning and then had a picnic lunch there. Tonight we're just grilling. No family around, so it's just the three of us. Some times I really miss those family picnics!
John,
Where are you at in N. Florida? My brother lives in Jacksonville (aka hillbillieville!).
Jeff
