its always difficult this time of year (baseball season) we usually dont get to have dinner together until the weekends (and i am a stickler for family dinners)...anyway Brad is in Orlando until Thurs (since last Fri) and we have been doing take-out lately, but tonight it is either leftovers or frozen fish sticks or chicken nuggets, or sandwiches, whatever they want since they all eat at different times anyway...we end up eating snack stand food too often and that gets old real soon...this too shall pass, and life will be back to normal again soon, or will it? one of my favorite quick fixes is breakfast for dinner, quick, cheap and easy!

This evening, we will be having grilled boneless pork chops along with corn-on-the-cob (and a small salad) and the boys will also have grill potatoes cubed potatoes with salt/pepper/butter in a foil packet) in place of the salad) and Trina and I will not. I will have some dessert of some frozen pineapple chunks.

On Monday nights I'm pretty much on my own. John works until 10pm, Georgia is at Brownies, and once I get Chris to bed it's just me. So tonight I'm having refried beans and a salad. Kristin, I'm like you when it comes to family meals. We all sit at the table and have a conversation!

Thanks for the pointer Kristen. I'll try that next time (maybe just a bunch of grilled veggies in place of a boring old salad).

leftovers from Lindseys 7th birthday party. Turkey barbeque and macoroni salad. I am on the same program as Kristen these days baseball 4 or 5 nights a week which really cuts into dinner time. I try to cook a good meal at least 5 days a week but at this time a year we eat alot of barbeque, tacos and stuff thats quick and easy.

We finally fired up the barbecue tonight! John made steaks, grilled veggies, baked potatoes, a salad, french bread and camembert, followed by strawberries and ice cream. And I wonder why my ass is so wide?
