I hope you're all having a great Easter, and the Easter Bunny brought you lots of chocolate! It was a beautiful day here today, so we went to Brodsworth Hall for a picnic and to look for some fairies. Every Easter the Hall hosts a fairie hunt for kids. If you find all 10 fairies hidden in the garden (and it's a BIG garden! - it took us 3 hours to find them!) you get a sticker and some chocolate. Here are a couple of pictures of our day out.

yes, fairies sounds like fun, but very little payoff for 3 hours work, guess the kids dont know any better yet...wish it was beautiful here, cold and low 40's and windy...calling for possible snow storm mid-week, YUK! we also had an egg hunt inside, only 2 little ones (3&4) and one not so little (7)...but they had fun...i, too used to have alot of cows, but getting away from them now...watching planet earth at the moment, shark attack, anyone else watching?
come on girls where's your scence of adventure we did our egghunt outside we just had to get our winter coats back out.
Kristen--thanks for reminding me I forgot to tape planet earth but I guess they will rerun it thoughout the next few months. I can't believe Luchena & Joyce are gone from the race and I certainly can't believe some of the teams that are left. Makes me think even I could win a race!!!
oh shoot, i didnt watch the race yet, now i know who lost...i should know better to stay off the computer and away from tv until after i watch it!
Happy Easter! (and don't forget those birthdays!!) we had a big easter egg hunt on Saturday night (my four and their friends approx. 15 kids). they all loved it and they ended the night with a huge water balloon fight! can't say the weather here is bad, 95 and sunny! i cannot believe how cold it still is back there...more snow? that just seems crazy!!
Andrea I knew you were going to post about the warm or should I say hot weather in Arizona, I was even going to mention it in my previous post. I can't wait until summer when you are sick of the heat....haha. Then again w/ the way things are going around here it might be hotter than AZ in August.

oh the cold, it sucks, brad & jake are at baseball practice now and its like 40 out and windy...here comes the weather now (on the news) waiting to hear about this weeks???how bout this, xmas was 43 and easter was 41! record lows tonight...saying mix for wed night, accumulations in the poconos, so steve may end up with another day off!!

Sounds like everyone had a fun Easter. We braved the cold and had an egg hunt outside. The cold doesn't seem to bother my kids but I am sick of it. I am ready for pool weather!
