What is going on?
Is everyone busy being an adult?
Are the families and warm weather keeping everyone away?
Is the job actually taking priority over the BLOG?
I can't handle not having anything to read and react to.
It's like my paperboy has forgotten to deliver my paper for a week.
I need something to read. In-School Suspension Duty sucks.
Only a few more weeks and I can relax (if you call chasing around and entertaining to boys all summer relaxing).
The Catty pool has to open soon, my 7 year old (Trae) wants to go on the slides so much. The other day while we were at the Catty playground, he stood at the fence gazing at the dirty water in the pool.
Only 15 more days for me and this school year is over.

Is the blog dried up?

Steve, I was thinking the very same thing recently, and was going to post something similar but you beat me to it! Where the hell is everyone?
I'm afraid there are 8 more weeks to the school year over here. At the end of this week, schools close for "half term", and then they go back for 7 more weeks. The school year finishes on July 21st. I go back to work (still on maternity leave) on July 10th for only 2 weeks, and then we have six weeks off!
I check everyday but usually don't have much to say.
When I drove past the pool on Saturday it was empty so they must be getting ready to fill it.
I would hate to chase kids around but I know you love it - otherwise why would you have had children????
Can someone explain to me how to post pictures to the web? I was thinking about updating my bio and including pictures.
there is a link called "posting a picture" on the right side of the blog under "confused about blogging"
well, the weather here turned warmer long time ago....i think between all the margaritas and watching the SUNS win.....ok, lying by the pool and did I mention drinking margaritas???
I check it everyday myself. Some days I am laughing at the stuff, my co-workers probably think I have gone nuts. I look forward to reading it. I would have loved to have met Sonya on Friday night but I had other plans. I was wondering who showed up and maybe some good gossip.
still here just waiting for some others to chime in ;)
I check in! Just haven't had too many comments to make...been feeling lousy...I have morning sickness that goes from morning til night and shows no signs of stopping:o( Usually I'm here at night when I can't sleep!
Morning sickness? Jamie, you're pregnant? Did I miss something? Have you mentioned this before? When is the baby due?
I just realised my entire comment is comprised of questions. :-)
Maybe she was hoping no one would pick up on her comment???
I must have missed that comment also! Jamie, fill us in!!!
this must be why she changed her screen name which used to be "Ida's Mommy". glad to hear it Jamie!
Actually, I changed my name because it just looked stupid here! I had been using Ida's mommy on my own blog.
I am 15 weeks pregnant and feeling really gross. Somehow it seems harder to be pregnant this time...must be OLD age!!! Or maybe it's just harder because this time I have a 2 year old to chase around all day. The baby is due in November. We've been trying for a year and a half, so we are thrilled(just have to keep reminding myself of that through the nausea!)
Well congratulations Jamie! You are never to old to have children!! That yucky stage will pass and you will be a glowing pregnant woman!! So, I guess this means you will have to be a designated driver the night of the reunion....? ha!
Not sure if we'll be making it up or not. We were thinking about it until I got pregnant. My husband is from the Scranton area, and he likes to visit home. But I'll be 8 months pregnant and I'm not sure I'll be up for a 7 hour ride. My daughter has no patience for a ride over 20 minutes! We came up for Easter and it was the trip from HELL! But...we'll see when the time comes I guess.
Congratulations Jamie! I just had my second baby 7 weeks ago, and it is harder the second time around when you have another child to look after. And, I wasn't a glowing pregnant woman. I was a big, oversized, sick every day, grumpy, swollen ankles pregnant woman! ;-) But he's here now, so it was worth it.
best wishes Jamie. Yes the 2nd time is a bit differant and harder but well worth it.
Where's your sense of adventure come to the reunion.......heck I went to Disney when I was 7 1/2 months pregnant. I posted in another comment about the portable DVD players they work wonders for long car rides. Target has them for $88. The payoff on that purchase is priceless!!!
