Very big surprise last night. Thought ole Chris was going to cry. But he didn't deserve to go. Kim, how many times did you actually vote for Taylor? His fan base seems to have made him the favorite now.

sorry to say i don't watch much tv and i don't even know what anyone on AI sounds like....however, the chatter on the radio early this morning wasn't good regarding this Chris guy! everyone seemed sorry to see him go!!

Even my 3 year old daughter is into American Idol. She stays up past her normal bedtime (8PM) to watch it both on Tuesday & Wednesday....this AM the first thing she said was "Chris is going home"....but Catherine was worse..." To think that Pauko & my 3 year old have something in common is scary! OK -I'm a closet "watcher" too.
Sonya - IF they voted off all the HOT CHICKs - they'd lose more viewers. They should have squezzed out that weasel Elliot (although he did have a good week). Besides I think he's sleeping with Paula to stay on the show....
Guys, everyone is into American Idol on THIS side of the pond! I don't watch it - can't stand Simon. I couldn't stand him when he was on Pop Idol over here all those years ago, but all my friends are into it. We had a party a few weeks ago and it all came screeching to a halt at 7pm so everyone could go in the living room and watch American Idol! Sick!

I definitely thought Chris and Katherine were going to be the last 2 standing. I voted for no one this week however. I like Taylor but really didn't think he would win- i thought Chris would easily beat him out, until now. I was as shocked as anyone. It is a shame. I think it would have been good for him to win because he is so different from all the past winners. Not good overall for AI. But okay, I'll say it- Go Taylor!
Andrea, he's sleeping better now and he's huge! I'm fine. John is a big help. He does all the things I normally do around the house so I can see to Chris (except laundry. He's not allowed to touch the washing machine - long story!)
vick...i'm glad to hear he and you are all doing well. huge is cute, babies are supposed to round and rolly! enjoy him because we all know how FAST time goes! I'm with you on the laundry thing....I'm the only one who can touch the washer/dryer....they can all put it away, but that is the limit!

I love Simon, I think he makes the show. If I had to listen to Paula constantly tell everyone how great they are I'd puke!!!! Simon usually says exactly what I am thinking.
My mom told me this morning that there is a large group of individuals that are voting for the worse person's this season. I would believe that since the worst are still there.
Of those left, I would hope Taylor wins but he is no Chris nor Paris.
