Too late.
Anyway, great pics... I harassed you somewhere else on the blog Kim, so I won't do it again here... But I will say this again... It's about friggin' time!
I guess I have to post some kind of bio now, since Mary put a pic up... I'll have it within the hour... I'm so efficient...
Judy!! Your phone broke? Was it a dial phone? Too funny. I am glad you are happy and healthy right now. Get your phone fixed- we must talk.
Here's an oldie but a goodie. Remember when Kim Harhart drop kicked a basketball and hit you in the head? How about as soon as Mary would sit down at lunch, you would ask her if she was going to eat all her food? Drove her nuts.
Hello Ladies! Thanks for checking in and posting the picture! It's good to see you! You both look great!
Okay - so that was Kim talking? Not Mary? I'm so confused...
This is Mare. I have changed my mkc to Mare. Just makes more sense. Anyway, yes, Kim was using my identity for a little while. She will be back tomorrow with her own blog. Thank you to everyone who posted. You made her laugh. It was great!
Mare
Official hello to both Mary and Kim. Glad to see you made it to the post.
I always preferred.....NightMare. Anyway....Kimy....great to finally hear from you! We....I...have missed you.
I suppose I should think about posting a bio one of these days, of course, I don't have any kids to post pictures of. Perhaps I should try to have a child before the reunion. I'd better go out tonight and start looking....
Hi Mare and Kim, glad to hear from you. I wish Kim all the best as she goes through this difficult time. That is fun that you have places near Elk. I heard that it is a nice ski area but I have never been there. You both look great!
Kim - big big big hugsmissedyouwelcome, get me your email, so you can make a post worthy of your apparently long overdue arrival.
Longe- I remember the Night Mare..funny. Hope last evening was an interesting one for you!
Carol - Great to hear from you. Do you have a bio posted? I remember at the last reunion you were expecting. Hope you are doing well.
Randy - thanks for the official hello. I have enjoyed your Jose Cuervo pictures. Kim and I are Corona fans. Nothing like a Corona and lime on a hot summer day. Hope we can raise a glass or two at the reunion.
Two words---Dos Equis
[curious side note---that translates to "two Xs"]
Corona and a lime.....that it the only kind a beer I really like anymore...good on a hot summer day.
2 X's? Is that twenty?
Now I just need to figure out what the hell I am doing....I can't keep track of where I wrote things. I am such a tech weenie. I will put together my bio tonight and try to get some pictures together. Hang in there- I'll be up to speed soon! Thanks to Matt, Dave, Todd and whoever else started this. Let's all toast with a margarita....now I just have to remember where I posted this and I'll be fine.......
Andrea - I think we got everyone hooked on margaritas now. We'll have to have those on hand at the reunion!!!!!!
I tried to post this last night but apparently without success- or maybe just somewhere else.....
Hey LongE
Are you sure you don't have any kids? How can you be so certain?
randy.....i'm totally up for margaritas at the reunion....however, i'm really more of a corona/lime girl...depends on the mood and where i am...and did you know they have corona in cans? i didn't even see that in mexico...i learned that on the golf course....wow...playing golf and drinking corona out of a can, how can you go wrong with your swing???
Hi Andrea!!!!
How the heck are you????
Speaking of coronas.....did you know that had little pony ones too? called 'Coronitas'!!!.
hi kim....i'm great...it's so good to hear from you...yes i did know they had the little ones....they just don't fill you up like the regulars....but they are cute. get that bio posted so i know what you have been up to all these years.
i was thinking this morning of when your dad coached our softball team...he was great!
Mullen - Love Dos Equis as well.
Kim- Glad you got through on the link I sent. Love the Longe comment.
Andrea - How far are you from Sedonia? Did I spell that right?
Golf???? I just started playing myself. I actually enjoy it now. My company revolves around golf. They send me to these sponsored tournaments. Thank God it's best ball. I usually play on Monday nights with my dad at Willow Brook. At 70 he still kicks my butt.
How's your Dad doing Randy? I remember playing golf with him years ago. If you ever need an extra player, give me a call. I am going to try to play more often this year.
Andrea and Coronas...and I assume an occational shot of tequila?
And Kimy....(hiking up pants)...no kids that I know about. I always figured if they are out there, they will only appear if I strike it rich.
longe, i guess you'll never know then! unless we all start eating a whole lot of tastykake--give us your route info!!
Todd - We usually play every Monday night - 9 holes - around 5:30 and yes we usually only have three guys so another would be great. He is doing fine. Just turned 70 in October and works part time for LVH.
Wow 70! I think my Dad is now 76.
How long have you been playing?
Since I started with the new company last April. I took lessons from Andy Kistler and bought some Pings off of him. The lessons were the key. We have a guy that works for us who is a pro (+2). He works with us when we play. That helps a lot.
Are your parents still in the area?
Mare, I posted a bio some time back in the archives. I have three boys ages 12, 9 and almost 6. It is so much fun reading about what everyone has been doing for the past 20 years.
Yes Randy. They still live in the same house...on Pennsylvania Avenue.
I love golf but suck. One of my favorite long-e lines cam about ten years ago when we were out on the links with my brother and a college friend of mine.
He said, "Mullen, I've never seen someone so bad at golf enjoy it so much."
I do recall that day. After missing a 3 foot putt....for a 9, Mullen would react with so much emotion.....you would have thought he just lost the Masters by a stroke.
Nice. But to be fair - I wasn't that bad! Was I? I do know that I consistently shot between 100 and 110 - but I never broke 100, despite several front nines under 50.
The end of that quote was you suggesting I take some lessons - and not in a mean way. I remember you saying that they would help and I would enjoy golf even more. Unfortunately, I never made the time for it.
OFF TOPIC ALERT: I'm sure Long-e (and the rest of the uco) remember who the college friend was. If not, here's a hint: Eh, eh, eh...
Ed Jed! But Ed doesn't deserve discussion on our blog.
Longe, I think it would be interesting for you to give a brief detail about your match years ago in the Willowbrook tourney with Mike Rieker. We all know what a great guy he was. Did I caddy for you that day?
yes...randy....golf. i actually just started playing...got some clubs for christmas.
ummmm. longe....wut is wrong with a shot of tequilla?
mare....funny...i just got home from sedona a bit ago. i go up every couple of weeks....gotta get my energy fix....i love it there! it is a straight two hour drive!
Nothing wrong with a shot of tequila. We'll have one at the reunion. Or two.
Maybe we'll even have to have one in Baltimore.
Wow...Ed Jed. Now there's a blast from the past.
I can't remember if you caddied that day Dave. Did I play him in the first round? I know it wasn't in the final, but it could have been the semi's.
OFF TOPIC ALERT: Dave was right about him not deserving a mention here - which is why I tagged it as "Off Topic" - but it did go with the story.
Guys, I haven't talked to him since his wedding. [Dave: You know he married Laura right?]. Geez, talk about settling! They both did. They were each too lazy to find someone better - which I think they both could have done - if that makes sense.
Mare---Sorry we hijacked your post. Howz about some stories from Schnecksville! Or Kim stories? Or Jamie stories?
Just do a shot of tequila, chase it with some Corona, and start typing. That's what Andrea does! [And possibly Randy too!]
hey there mullen....now you are getting a little personal....i only do shots of tequilla before the massages i give....the beer(S) come after....
A---I apologize if it got personal - there was nothing but love meant with that observation. And mad props for the capital "s" after beer...
tmm....no harm done....i'm sure we will be able to work this out at the reunion....say??? i buy you a shot...u buy me a shot?
Hey Hey Mullen.....don't put me in the same category as Andrea.
oh randy....i know you feel honored. however, you are probably right....i'm sure you drink way more than I!
A---There is little doubt that I'll be buying drinks. I did post-graduate work in that field with the legendary Dr. Long-e. Worth every penny...
R---Pipe down and pass the tequila!
All this talk about tequila and corona....The Jetport may be a better option for the reunion. No driving necessary.
Remember boys and girls....I'm the one who bikes and is still a fitness freak....so it is not me who drinks way too much. On occassions....yes....but not what you guys think........Hey honey.......can you get me another corona while I'm on the computer.
Longe - were you at the Mobile Station on Front Street this morning? Is that your area?
R---Me thinks that is his brother Ted - the other Tastykake T. Long.
That was Ted. I have a big chunk of North and South Bethlehem, Hellertown, and some of Saucon Valley.
yeah, even though i ran today and worked out for an hour and ahalf.....i'm still counting on those tastykakes to show up....mailbox was empty again!
ok/those of us who dont have time or just dont feel like working out/let alone for and hour and a f-ing 1/2 dont need to hear how ambitious you are....i'm going to eat some tastykakes before i go to bed!
saucer of milk, table one? reeeerh!
sorry kristen...that comment was for randy because he says he's so into being physically fit he doesn't drink that much....send me a tastykake and i'll eat one with you....
good one matt
it was late, i was tired
I didn't say that I don't drink that much......it's not every day....just every other....ha ha ha.
