I completely forgot what day it was until my friend Gaele (who is French!) wished me a happy Independence Day.
Happy 4th everyone!
it's not the same when the 4th falls in the middle of the week...we went to a friend of Jake's b-day party, rained a bit and we just made it home before the heavy rain started...putting a damper on the fireworks
i do wish we would get a bit of rain. we are heading into our monsoon season now and usually that entails a huge wind storm and a few rain drops if we get lucky. the only good thing to come of it is you can smell the rain in the air.

Have 4th to everyone. My parents are at work so I am waiting to see what the weather is like today to plan what I am going to do.
