Some other Lost Birds

Sonya - this is no disrespect to you. Sorry to hear about your bird.

I just had to do this to get in some digs and get some people fired up for football season!

Here are some other lost birds who can't find their way home.

GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, couldn't find a picture of the Steelers? That's okay; I like seeing the "Birds" anyway. I am ready for some football.

I see their record no better than 7-9. On the rebuild, but then again..who cares when you have a tailgate party like the Eagles do!
Steve, run to the Motorhome!!!!!

You are so lucky Randy!!!! I have great news!! My bird had flown over 10 miles from my house but a young boy found him on Wednesday afternoon. A family friend was doing landscaping work on my street today and saw my flyer. My bird is now home after being missing for 1 week.

If he wasn't home with me I would have probably have kicked your ass at the reunion when I saw you.

Thanks to everyone who prayed for my bird. It truly was a miracle that he was returned to me!!!!!

Sonya, I'm so happy to hear the good news about Neon! :-D I don't pray but I was thinking good thoughts for you.

Glad to hear the good news Sonya. As you can see there is hope for all you Eagle fans that those birds just may find their way home.......Not!

Don't underestimate the Eagles Rando....

See LongE - this is what Eagle Fan's say every season and then nothing ever comes of it?

Randy, which part of Pittsburgh are you from?

Rock and Randy, the fair weather fans of the class. Let's see, during which Super Bowl era of the Cowboys and Steelers did you start liking them? Bleh!

I believe in a term I have coined "territorial fanaticism", essentially, one should root for the team that is closest to where they grew up, or where they move to (for an extended period of time). So, although I remain a loyal Eagle fan, I can root for Carolina having been here 8 years, although I wish they were an AFC team instead.

Pauko - I have been a STEELERS fan my entire life!!!!! Based on your theory "territorial fanaticism" my wife is from Pittsburgh so that counts for something. Pennsylvania has two teams to choose from......which one has won more Super Bowl wins?????? Duh!!!!!! Give it up.......Eagles are just not a team to support. The only common football team to support in PA is the Nittany Lions!!!!!!! "We Are......"

Dave, Randy keeps his Steelers as his team, yet he posted an Eagles pic. Closet fan, me thinks. Dave, do we have any room on the Eagles bandwagon? Robb is a closet fan, because he has seen many more Eagles games than Viking games. Plus, he never wears his colors, but I always have my green on.
Also, if it weren't for the Eagles, Robb and I would never have bumped into eachother after all those years. Ask Robb why he LOVES RV's (I believe it was a bit nipply that day, huh Robb!)

Shoot, I think I am the driver of the Eagles bandwagon, and lately it is getting better gas milage (due to all those jumping off the bandwagon). I don't mind, because if everyone rooted for the same team, what fun would that be?

Steve - wait....I have to run to the basement to get something...............................................Okay....I'm back.......and I got my hip boots on because it's a gettin deep in here!!!! You better save that picture and even print it off because that's the last one you'll see like it for another 20 years. Ladies....are you sensing testosterone over load on this subject?????? All said...Saturdays are the real football days!

I am with Kristen. I live for football as well. Being a die hard Dolphins fan and my boyfriend being a die hard Steelers fan, Thursday night will be alot of fun especially with Big Ben being out. So, so, sorry!!! My daughter still cheers for Fullerton but I am still a Rough Rider fan and haven't yet been converted to a Zepher fan. So, go Dolphins, Roughs & Fullerton Ramblers!

michelle, does Lori Reichl's girl still cheer for Fullerton? when do they play catty? my nephews play for catty so i will be going to at least one game

Michelle (Heist) Edwards said...

I don't think Lori's girls cheer anymore, at least not for Fullerton. I don't think they cheered last year either. Fullerton has changed leagues to we don't play Catty anymore. I am not thrilled with the league because they are not local teams (S. Lehigh, Bath, Pleasant Valley, Northwestern, Palmerton). We have to travel further. That is great that Jake is playing middle school. It is amazing that our kids started 7th grade today.

Judy, Judy, Judy....... not to worry....I'm just picking on the over rated, no talent Eagles. Same shit...different year.

Hey judy, my brother is a die hard seattle seahawk fan and actually went to the superbowl this past year. Unfortunately, he wasn't very happy with the results.
