Kim - i hated my first real job out of college (ad agency). after 1 year i quit and got a job at the local bike shop. did that for a year - it was great fun but lousy pay and after a while Cat got tired of subsidizing my slacker lifestyle.

Don't see 'birthing babies' on the list! That trumps everything! :)

LongE said...

Oh come on Terrie....I pulled a muscle in my rib cage once. It really hurt. Certainly that was more painful than giving birth....

Steve Freeman said...

Todd, keep it up and a few of the ladies may break a couple of your ribs at the reunion. You will wish for a pulled "muscle".

TerriE said...

Todd, Steve's onto something. You may just wish for the good 'ol days of the pulled muscle! :)

Ok Longe, I know you typed that comment to provoke all the women bloggers out there. And it may have worked. That comment may just be the incentive I need to get my pregnant self up to Catty in October. And I dare you to say it to a woman who is 8 months pregnant...along with all the other mommies there. Although maybe I should be nice to you...because the other night I had a huge craving for krimpets! :o)

randyg said...

Did someone say "Krimpets"????? Now we're talking!!!! Hi Jamie....I ran into your pop at the golf course last week.

That's right LongE.....I'm practicing up. Let's play......soon!!!!! Robb you up for playing????? I was in two tournaments this week. Crashed and burned in the first one but played better in the second.

I had a paper cut today if that counts for anything????? JK

lw said...

Did somebody say golf? I have had the bug to go out this past week but did nothing about it. So, whos up for twilight golf or any other time?
btw- i have three children and i didnt feel a thing.

randyg said...

Lew - I typically play on Monday evenings around 5 at Willowbrook. If you have some type of weekend thing in mind count me in. Maybe LongE and Robb might be interested?????

Steve Freeman said...

Deanna, why do you keep repeating yourself? Doesn't every conversation with a man end up with sports? My wife tells me that if I didn't talk about sports, I would be silent. Sports is a man's bonding subject. Like babies and labor pain is for women (Longe, I took one for you this time - you owe me).

randyg said...

Freeman - I'll back you up on this one. Sports is our "Labor of Love" and depending on the teams you are a fan of the Labor pains can be great at times. Like being a Philly sports fan (you pick the team & sport) Those are some labor pains no one should feel.

Jamie said...

Randy...did you just compare an Eagles' loss with baby labor pains????

mathbach said...

really! how can they compare? the Phils and Eagles can lose week after week, night after night, for months on end whereas babies are usually at least a year apart. silly Randy.

randyg said...

You're right Matt....what was I thinking?????

Carol (Schleicher) Good said...

Jamie-I didn't know you were pregnant. Congratulations! I must have missed that somewhere along the line. I have been out of the blog loop for quite some time. You better come to the reunion! I think I was about 8 months pregnant at our last reunion. As for labor pains, men have no idea! The only good thing about them is that they don't last too long, hopefully, and there is a tremendous blessing in your new baby at the end of them.

randyg said...

Jamie - I believe I did compare the two???? Silly me......the Eagles losing over and over are much more painful to watch. See even Carol says labor pains go away and the outcome is wonderful where with the Eagles or any other Philly team the pains just keep coming and never end.
