Favorite Show(s)

Remember when no one would miss Cheers or Taxi or Happy Days?
Now all I have time for is House on Fox and reruns all summer.

What does everyone else watch on a weekly basis?

I rarely get to watch television during the school year (I AM a workaholic during school). I reserve my Tuesdays at 9:00 for House (or I record it and watch it later).

Other than sports (when I can), I don't watch much television.
I try to catch as many Flyers games as I can (I love the 7:00 starts since I am crashing by 10:00).

My list includes:
24 (great stuff but it gets my adrenaline pumping therefore I can't fall asleep until 2am).
last comic standing
Mad Money !
Deal or No Deal
Flyers !!! When I 'm not there
World Poker Tour
Office

There's a channel here called ABC1, and they show all those TV shows we used to watch years ago. Sometimes when I'm missing home I'll watch a bit.
I never miss House (except he's on on Thursdays here). Sorry Kristen, but I'm over CSI, even the original! I'm watching a lot of World Cup Football at the moment (England beat Sweden last night and are through the next round. The USA play Ghana tomorrow and they have to win to get through!) Apart from that, I don't watch much television.

Sorry, John has just informed me that England tied with Sweden (they were winning when I went to bed last night!) They're still through to the next round.
I forgot that I also watch My Name Is Earl ("I'm karma's bitch!") :-)

Kristen, you watch as much television as Trina (my wife). She has a list of shows that she watches - so long I can't keep track. I am just glad we have enough TV's that no one has to fight over what show.
One of her favorites is Nip/Tuck. On way too late for me, but she likes it.
Robb, Trina says, "If an actor makes you want to slap them, they are doing a great job."
At work, I am lost at lunch when they all start talking about "Lost" or "24" or "West Wing" or anything but sports. I just sit there and look at my lunch b/c I have no idea what they are talking about. Only on Wed's can I jump in with my House comments.

Wow, these are hard to think of off the top of one's head!!!

My fiance feels the same way about house - he thinks he is an arrogant asshole, but I happen to like the show.

My favorites:
1) American Idol - however I think I am getting tired of this
2) My Name is Earl
3) House
4) CSI - I buy the seasons' every year so I don't watch it during it's normal showing
5) Skating with Celebrities - I enjoyed this show when it was on

I am more of a rerun type of person:
1) Home Improvement
2) SVU: Special Victims Unit
3) Rosanne

I don't particularly like sports, but I have to watch the Orioles and Ravens with Rob whenever they are on.

Talking about Unwrapped, my near 4 year old (Liam) loves that show. One night when I was giving him a bath, he actually asked "Is My show coming on soon?". I had no idea what he meant, so I asked, "what show?".
He quickly responded with "the show that they make all the candy on, on the food channel." I said, "Unwrapped is on in 5 minutes" and he immediately jumped out of the tub and said, "Okay, let's brush my teeth, the show is coming on".
It worked better than telling him it was going to thunder and lightning to get him out of the tub (that does work too - if I just say, "Did you hear that thunder?" He jumps out of the tub)
