GATOR BAIT

I haven't seen many posts from "Dan the Man" since I've joined the blog....thought this one may bring him out - Hopefully he placed his money on "The Mighty Gators" and didn't do anything foolish (like placing it all on Nova). I Can't wait to see what the Football Team does with the #1 Recruiting class coming in -Could be Two in one Year....GO GATORS!!

P.S. - Didn't Matt have a Hairstyle like Joakim's somewhere along the way???

Congrats Jeff, and enjoy it. Unfortunately, to the impartial fan, it was one of the worst Final 4's in recent history. All 3 games sucked.

i hate to appease Dan and Mullen, but i think U Conn was the best team this season, they hit a lull at a bad time.

UConn? I was rooting for Villanova - although I do always pull for the Big East teams.

I was rooting for LSU. Not sure who the best team was....but as Matt said...UConn hit a lull at the wrong time. That is the beauty of the tourney. It's who is hot at the right time. Look how good UCLA looked against LSU....and they looked like shit last night.

Todd & Matt,

For the record I had Uconn & Duke in the final for my bracket. Only had the Gators going to the sweet 16 before bowing out (as they normally do). Who would have known?!? The games were pretty boring this year. I must say it was good to see a TEAM win a championship -where everyone played their role to perfection. In the End it was DEFENSE that wins championships -once again.

Matt - Remind me to buy you a drink at the reunion. I'll make sure it's your favorite - A SOUR GRAPES Martini.....

duely noted.

Jeff is sounding awefully cocky for a guy who just won his FIRST championship. You must have been a Spurrier lover....

Not trying to sound cocky (You would have seen posts for the last 2 weeks if that was the case!)...just trying to stir up some conversation and some love for the underdogs. Not bad for a the schools "other" sport I might add...(border-line cocky!!).
