I've been wondering about this for some time now...does the Blue Monkey have a special drink called "The Blue Monkey?" I checked their Website and didn't see any mention. It seemed more like a beer kind of place.
So, tell me, those of you who have been there, is there a special drink?

1 part Blue Curacoa
1 part Coconut Rum
1 1/2 parts Orange Juice
1/2 part Pineapple Juice
Pour over crushed ice and stir gently! ENJOY!!
A friend of mine has a cocktail shaker with a "Blue Monkey" drink on it and that's what got me to thinking about this. That drink had a banana liqueur in it I think.
I have this weakness for blue mixed drinks so I was kind of hoping to indulge it at the reunion--and have some of my fellow classmates join me, of course! :-)
I went thru a time period where my favorite drink was a Blue Whale. Vodka, lemonade, blue curacao.
Hmmmm, concocting our own 'blue' drinks at the Blue Monkey...sounds like a plan!
Donna....we will come up with a special "blue" drink for you. Believe me....you will be seeing monkeys by the end of the night.

I have bad memories of blue drinks. The last time I had one was on our honeymoon. I ordered from the pool bar, slipped on some water, fell smack down and ended up wearing two blue drinks. Very embarrassing! If that is the specialty drink for the night I may have to move past my fears and try one again.
That's the spirit, Carol! We'll just make sure that you stay sitting and people can bring the drinks to you!

Sonya, I was actually working on that yesterday. I was tearing my house apart looking for a particular picture to post and I can't find it! It's a picture of my "kids" so it's important for me to post it.
