This is the best picture I had of the Ontelaunee fishing contest. Ryan and I joined Rusty, his daughter Taylor,Rusty's dad Al, Rusty's brother Gregg and his son Garrett in the contest. Ryan must have rubbed a rabbits foot before he started fishing because the fish seemed to like his hook?? He ended up with a 15 1/4" 1 pounder. Along with about a dozen catches. Had a good time!

looking at that picture makes me want to ask how many times did the kids lines get tangled? that is why I don't trout fish, way to many people for my liking
This was our first year at a contest. I was hesitant I thought the same thing about getting tangled but there is plenty of room to spread out and if the kids aren't good at casting the parents are allowed to help them cast.
Rock, love the pictures. There is just something about a boy and his fish. He looks so proud of his catch.
I tell you guys one thing when I camped out with Rock,Ryan, Emily and myself. It was amazing just to sit back and watch those kids fish, interact and explore.
It's amazing how fast they grow and learn. Did Rusty even get a liscense this year :P
