Looking for Contractor

Since my grandfather passed away last week, it appears that my grandmother is going to move in with my parents. In order for this to occur, my parents are going to have to build an addition onto their house so I am looking to see if anyone can suggest a good contractor. They live in Salisbury. They are looking for someone who can get the job done pretty quickly and not charge them an arm and a leg.

I thought about contacting Randy but thought this work. If you also know of a contractor that my parents should avoid, please let me know also.

THANKS!!!

My contractor is currently working on our kitchen (he's also put in all new windows and our deck - along with an addition on my in-laws for the same reason as yours). I don't know his timeline for jobs, but I will ask him on Monday (if he gets here due to the snow) if he'd be interested.
I have full confidence that he would do an excellent job and is VERY reasonable, I just don't know if he is available soon.

You can call ny brother for some options
Jay Muller-610-266-7472
He helped Randy build his first house and can also give you some advise.

My neighbor, a drywall contractor could help when I get his number.
He only works on multi-million dollar homes anynore and knows many people. He also manged some large sites but didn't like to be called out about non-payments from the owners. If you want his #, I'll get that also.

Between Randy,my brother and Robb, they should hook you up. Heck my brother can still do it, but it depends on the size and time. he redid my father-in law's kitchen, added a new garage and rebuilt a hot tub gazebo and deck for him in the last 2 yrs.

Good luck, hope I helped,(at least he can give you good advise)

Sonya, sorry to hear about your grandfather passing. Not much help here with the contractor. Only know people who do it on the side on weekends. But if you go that route let me know. They are just starting out and trying to establish a business and would like to go full time.

Sonya - If you are looking for a legitimate contractor then I would start with www.lvba.org and look up who is on the remodelers list. I do not refer anyone anymore. If they are looking to get this done in a timely fashion then using a legitimate contractor is the best route to go. If you need a draftsmen to design or draw up some plans I can help you with that. I would also suggest stopping by the township building and talk to zoning to get the required set backs from property lines and general zoning requirements. The only reason that I cannot help more is because I will be the one doing the plan review and inspections. If you want to talk more give me a call or email me.
