OK, so I've been playing

You may have noticed I changed the look of the blog (AGAIN). I figure with a new year coming, a slight change would be appropriate. I have been off for over a week (I know, feel bad for the teacher) and since I have done nothing school-related, I thought I should at least mess with the blog.

Very nice SeƱor El Presidente. I've been off for over a week too. I go back to work a week today. Still too soon as far as I'm concerned.

I go back on Wednesday. I'm ready to get the school year moving. It always seems to go fast after christmas.

I like the picture of the HS at the top of the Blog.

I like the new look Steve. Good Job!

Hope everyone has a GREAT 2008!

No sir, I don't like it.
The margins occupy half of the width available for content. Lots of scrolling, tiny amount of room available for text adjacent to photos. Look at the "Santa's Express" post: there isn't room for more than 3 words next to the pics.

My humble opinion only, of course - you're the president, and I'm told the president's always right.

Happy new calendar.

I'm working on the margins, I'll do what I can - I agree - I used a template and am trying to adjust (have to go to HTML and it's been a few years).

I think I got the margins done. What does everyone think now? I am not against any suggestions, I am just glad the blog goes on. I can't believe its been going on for this long.
Anybody go back to the earliest posts? They are funnier now that when posted. Good times, Good times.
Let's try to get many people back (for a bit at least) and get the posts up. By my calcs, we are over 562 posts.

Happy New Year everyone! I think it looks great. Change is always good. I am back to the grind (i mean work) today after an extended holiday and it is tough getting back into the swing of things. I also like the reunion picture slide show.

When I pull the blog up now, I have to scroll way down in order to see that there is information on the blog. I actually left a few times before I realized that what was happening. I find this to be quite annoying.

If you could figure out how to make this work on everyone's computer correctly - that would be great!!!

mj jones said...

I want to know why I have to log in every time I want to make a comment, that is annoying why can't I stay logged in??? It used to be that way right???

kristen said...

i've always had to log in everytime i check in to the blog...i think it automatically logs you out when you leave the site???

Steve Freeman said...

MJ, about the log in thing, the only way to stay logged in is to keep the blog as a tab that is open. That way, when you come back it will be logged in (this only works if Internet is kept on). Otherwise, Kristen is actually correct.

Sonya, what is your resolution? What size screen are you using? These issues can be taken care of, but I need to know this to help.

kristen said...

steve, you say kristen is "actually" correct, like that's unusual or something?!

Steve Freeman said...

No, did it "seem" that way. If so, I apologize.

kristen said...

no apology necessary, i'm just bustin'

Steve Freeman said...

I thought you actually were pissed.

she's just used to Brad never admitting she's right

kristen said...

it's just like all writing (or reading) it's hard to tell when you're kidding or not...in my case, it's usually sarcasm!

and brad knows i'm alway right!

I always check the blog at work and I have a 21 inch monitor with a screen resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels.

Sonya, you should refresh, I have a 17 at work, a 19 at home (no size jokes) and my laptop is 15 wide. It looks fine on all of them. I'm perplexed.
