Here are the kids, showing off a few of their favorite things.

Here is mom taking pictures of her not so favorite thing! Where am I supposed to go with all of this stuff?!

Kristen I'm with you on that! My house looks like a toy store exploded, and I don't know where I'm going to put all this stuff. Last night I got really grumpy thinking about it. I need a bigger house!

I am glad that it is over. The last two days have been hectic to say the least.
I started Christmas eve by taking the boys to the movies (saw Alvin and the Chipmunks - pretty good -- and Liam did not go to the bathroom ONCE during the movie - usually goes 3 or 4 times - I got to see the entire movie without interruption).
We've then went to her parents to exchange (the kids - the adults don't really get anything).
Then on Christmas, we have the morning opening of presents (this year the boys did their own, took turns, cleaned up, and all I had to do was take pix and then the box of wrapping paper to the garbage cans) followed by my yearly Christmas breakfast (one of the only times we ALL sit and eat a cooked breakfast together).
After showers, we all go to my parents and have more exchanging of gifts, and of course they want to open and play all of them there (pieces get lost before we leave - but not this year). Then it is home for AN hour, feed the dog and back to her parents for dinner.
About 7:30, it is home where you'd think it was over, but then we have to open presents and build the tracks and figure out what has batteries and where all the pieces go.
Right now, I am drinking my coffee and letting everyone sleep. Spoke too soon, hear footsteps coming down the stairs.
Oh well, let the box opening continue - gotta get my screwdriver and stock of batteries. Wish me luck.

Your daughter is gorgeous Kristen! I love her long curly hair.

I wonder why we buy gifts when both my children are happier with the boxes!

Vicki, we definately need a bigger house too, but that would mean going back to work, & I dont want to do that right now...who am I kidding, I dont ever want to do that!

Steve, the running around sucks too doesnt it?! We had to go to 2 places on xmas eve plus church and then 2 different places on xmas day (guess that's better than when trisha was 9 mths & we made 4 diff't stops!)

Jamie, thank you! she must get the curly gene from Brad because it definately is not my side! It is a mess to comb sometimes. Your daughter has nice long hair too, but trisha has never had it cut.. yet!

Randy, Santa brought me a nice Redskins jacket this year, although he must've thought I gained weight because it is too big and now I have to send it back. He also must think I drink too much because I got a wine gift basket and some mango martini mix ? We go down the street for New Years, drink & eat and play games...it's nice because I can bring trisha home after midnight & the boys can stay & play a little later. You can have the tubing, I hate the cold...have fun!

Anyone get any thing special this year?

I got diamond earings as a special gift from Michael. My friend said that diamonds are a necessary gift after the third baby. I wonder what I will get for the fourth? Not sure if it is worth finding out but anything is possible.
