Wow, D, you really get around! I've probably visited less states than you have countries.
I think you need to define "visited," tho - I've driven across a fair number of states without even stopping to pee on them.

yea, wow, world traveler...i also have been through states, i think to 7 states, USVI and Bahamas
vacationed in 18 states but traveled through a few more

Donna what are some of your vavorites? Personally I loved SanDiego, Sedona and the coast of Maine.
MJ-I also loved Maine. I'm fond of the mountains in NC, the Banner Elk area in particular.
I'd go back to Iceland, Hungary, Poland, Finland and Rome in a heartbeat! (I've actually been to Iceland three times now and I still love the place.)
Oh, I'm DESPERATE to go to Iceland! It's on my list of places to visit before I die.

Hey, is it obvious to anyone that I got a new computer?
I have stayed in 16 states and the Bahamas 3 times (the 4th to be in November). I think my daughter is soon going to surpass me if she hasn't already.
kids today are so lucky I know mine are anyway, I was lucky to go to the beach, Virginia and Disney my whole childhood. My kids have seen so much allready and probobly don't even get it!!!
I think I'm a pretty lame traveler...only 8 states. Unless you count the few we stayed in during a band trip...but I don't even remember being there!
Steve, I am just so happy to have you commenting on the web site.....a new computer is a great reason and I am sure I am speaking for everyone when I say "Welcome Back and Glad You Got a New Computer!!!"
Let's see. If you only count states and countries that I have actually spent time in then it would be...
Countries: 5 because we stayed a day in a few when on our cruise.
States: I think about 7 with several being while on a band trip. Jamie, you must remember some of those places and the MANY hours we spent on a bus getting to each one!
I love to travel and have a lot of places both in and out of the country that I would like to see one day. One of the next places we want to go see is Alaska.
Yes Alaska is on our list, hubby wants to go as a family next year but I can't see taking the kids there. They simply won't appreciate it and it's not worth spending the money if they are too young to get it. Then for us to go alone is a long time to leave them w/ my mom. She would do it for us but I'ld rather go somewhere else that we can all go and save Alaska for a few years from now.
