Merry Christmas!!

Since I'm five hours ahead of most of you, my Christmas Eve is well underway. I've baked a pie, set the table, and I'm considering cracking open a bottle of something. Santa will visit my house before you guys have even gone to bed (I know this because we're tracking him on the NORAD website!).

I think it's very interesting that El Presidente and I are the only ones around here today!

Merry Christmas!

Kristen, I made a pumpkin pie yesterday, and a pecan pie today. The turkey has just come out of the oven, so we're having hot turkey sandwiches for supper tonight with gravy and cranberry sauce. I'm washing it down with Baileys Winter Spice Irish Cream. Mother of God that's good stuff!!

I hope everyone has a safe and happy Christmas!

Merry Christmas & Happy New year to all!!!! All I want is a new back!!!!! We are spending our first Christmas in our new house. We have been moving and fixing up all the little things on the house we sold and on the new one we bought since mid October. With moving in a week before Christmas and trying to get everything unpacked (even made it a priority to get a tree set up)I feel as though I have been moving boxes for three months. So all I want is a new back (or some good pain killers) JK!

Randy, I take it we are not neighbors anymore. Where did you move?? We were wondering why we didn't see any decorations at your "old" house?? Merry Christmas to everyone!!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone! Vicki, do you have any special traditions on the other side of the pond that are different from USA? It sounds like all the great food is pretty much universal.

Randy, 39 and showing your age old-timer!!! I'm sure you could of recruited some of us to help.

Robb - right now I'm not feeling 39!!! I don't like to bother anybody. I had the garage to store things in at the new place so every weekend I moved a little at a time.

This old timer still can get around. I played in a flag football game against one team made up of 21 - 25 year old guys against another team of 27 - 32 year old guys. So needless to say I was the old man but still put some moves on these younger guys that couldn't believe that I was 39. You can take the man out of football but you can't take the football out of man! Okay....so I was sore for an entire week after the game!!! It still felt good to put a whoopin on the young guys.

Rabdy.........where and why did you move?

MJ - First of all my name is not Rabdy?????? Someone had too much holiday alcohol!!! JK.

We moved into a townhouse out near Wegmans on Tilghman St. Why you ask? Since I changed jobs after 17 years I work a lot of hours and I'm on the road a lot. I got tired of the yard work after working long hours and just wanted a place to come home to to enjoy spending time with my girls instead of having to go out and do constant yard work. We knew we had wanted to move (I just didn't think it would happen this soon) But things worked out for the best now.

How is your mom and Joey doing? Tell them both hello for me.

yes I saw my error after it posted.....I know what you mean about yard work having 3 acres does require alot of it here too. Next May it looks like Forrest will go to 4-10 hour days which will be nice that way he will always have a 3 day weekend and more time. Is Lesley still able to work from home??? Mom and Joe are doing great they just moved a few weeks ago. His place turned out really nice. Not a huge home (by today's standards) but everything is total quality. I am so glad he got out of Catty and away from the bar scene. It was time for him to move on. He may be a bit surprised at the work that comes with it as well. They have 10 acres and plan to get a few horses. Of course Lindsey can't wait for that. Mom got out of the basemant and has a real nice studio apartment above the garage. She seems happy and will start subbing at the Northwestern school cafeteria. All is well here too. HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!!

MJ - Lesley only does a few clients anymore due to being in college full-time.(that's right...I'm married to a "college chick" now...how cool is that? Robb knows what I'm talking about). With her back in school the move didn't come at a great time but everything worked out for the best. I really didn't think that my house would sell as fast as it did because of how the housing market dropped off. We knew we were going to move at some point and it just worked out a little ealier.

That's great to hear about your mom and Joey. I am just having a hard time seeing Joe on a horse??? From the past Jesse James to modern day "Joey Jones". It's a good thing that trains don't run in that area anymore.

Happy New Year
