Here is a picture of my husbands big buck he got it a few weeks ago during archery season and is quite proud. It's an 8 pointer and it weighed near 180 pounds dressed.

no Vicki I just help pack the meat and of course I am the cook. My son who's 10 actually gets such a kick out of going along and getting the deer. He also loves to make hamburger. Forrest is looking forward to taking him deer hunting in 2 years. They started this year for squirels but have yet to get one. That I will NOT be eating. One good thing is all this venison is really healthy for us all.
healthy, tasty, and even more important...cheap!! Happy Thankgsgiving...I just got back from the game, bitter, rainy, downright nasty, Roughs lost 35-14, but played tough til the end...anyone else brave the weather...there were not many left on our side after halftime
MJ, I have had squirrel. It's not bad, but you need about 12 of them to feed 2 people!
no Kristen it's not cheap when you add in all the hunting clothes, guns and other equipment. HAHA
That must have been one heck of a shot from the truck window..hehe..J/K
