But wait, there's more...

The Pilgrim Fathers came from Yorkshire too.

Okay, technically they didn't. They came from a village called Scrooby which is in North Nottinghamshire, but it's so far north in Nottinghamshire it might as well be part of Yorkshire anyway.

It sounds like your husband needs to bring you home to the US very soon....you're sanity seems to be depending on it.

No, I really like it here. It's just that Thanksgiving is an American holiday, and all this week at work people ask me, "Are you celebrating Thanksgiving?" "Why do you celebrate Thanksgiving?" "Explain what it's all about." "Where's the pumpkin pie?!" So this is a tough week for me. :-/
