Over the Thanksgiving weekend my daughter had the opportunity to meet Eagles Wide Receiver Hank Baskett. She said he was very nice and of course "Hot". Although she is a Pittsburgh Steelers fan she still enjoyed meeting him.

I always thought football players would look bigger.....your daughter looks great - have your hands full don't ya!!
Nice! Where did she get to meet him?
Sonya, you're right, I do have my hands full. Although I love my daughter to death, be glad you have pets. They at least don't talk back.
Steve, she got to meet him at an autograph signing at a Sprint store in NJ. My sister-in-law works for Sprint in Philly and they have a contract with the Eagles. Unfortunately I didn't get to meet him. Jenna said he was tall.
He is tall and you are lucky he's already engaged to Kendra from the Girl's Next Door.
I'm glad I have sons, I don't have to be as protective.
Actually my daughter was really hoping that Kendra would be there. She was suppose to be but they had gotten in late so she decided not to come. Jenna watches that show...I have never seen it.
its always cool to meet someone famous. I dread when my daughter becomes a teenager!!!
I have seen that show and always thought Kendra was such a dumbass. Who knows maybe its all an act.
yes, meeting someone famous is cool even if it is for a team or someone you dont like...i dont like that show either, and if kendra is the one i'm thinking of, i dont think she's all that hot either...brad sat at the G-man in Shippinsburg with two guys from the redskins when he was in college and since he likes the skins it was a treat to say the least...i think it was darryl green and art monk
The G-Man in Shippensburg?? Is that a family estblishment?
Sonya...Receivers aren't always big, a lot are under 6' and 180 lbs...but Fast. Like Steve Said -Baskett is lanky.
Michele - Pretty cool for your Daughter. Although I work for a Sports Memorabilia company, I don't get too involved in all the player appearances we have. But with the Phillies winning the WS, we had the entire team to our office over the past month. Although I didn't meet them all -I got to meet Jimmy Rollins, Cole Hamels, Pedro Feliz, and even Harry Kalas (Outta here.....).
i think that's a neat experience. my son and i drove up to lehigh every summer to see the eagles. if you ever get there, just place your child in front of the gate where they come off for autographs. they look for children to carry the equipment back to the locker rooms for the players. my son did that every year....he had some great experiences with dawkins, troy vincent.....great autographs and pics! and michelle, one year i had a vip pass and stood next to them on the field.....ha, it was interesting to see how small i thought they were compared to how they look on tv....
