Let the debate begin!

How do you like your peeps:
1) Fresh or Stale?
2) Chicks or bunnies?
3) Pink, Yellow, Purple or Blue?
4) Have you ever committed "peepocide" in the microwave?
5) Only for Easter or at every holiday?

  1. Both Fresh & Stale...i usually eat at least one when we open the pack, then they sit around awhile, and I'm the only one who eats them stale.

I like the knew Tulips, their bigger, and the cocoa flavored bats

Doesnt matter what color they all taste the same, unless their cocoa flavored of course.

no "peepocide" in this house, what a crime.

Every holiday...did you see the mini, individually wrapped ones at halloween?

Didnt we have a similar survey like this last easter or halloween?

  3. God I miss peeps. I even e-mailed Just Born one Easter and asked them if I could have some shipped. They don't ship outside the U.S. Dammit!

  5. My mom has sent me peeps in the past, but since her surgery I hate to ask her to do a peep run. Georgia has tried peeps, Chris hasn't though. We can get a peep-type marshmallow chick thing over here, but it's not the same.

  6. 1. Fresh
    2. Doesn't matter
    3. Doesn't matter unless cocoa
    4. NO!!!
    5. Any holiday. I agree with about the cocoa bats. I drove my ex crazy because I kept saying, "Chocolate bats! Chocolate bats!" I couldn't find them at Halloween last year but I did find cocoa cats.

What is everyone's favorite Easter candy, if it's not Peeps?

  7. My favorite Easter candy is peanut butter meltaways! Yummmmmm

Oh yeah, I really don't eat peeps (got two boys who won't share) much, but I prefer them fresh and always show the train wreck as I eat them.

  8. 1) Fresh
    2) Either
    3) they all taste alike
    4) nope
    5) For some reason, it just doesn't seem right to eat Peep if it isn't Easter.

When I was teaching, I had a student whose dad worked for Just Born(do they have a local factory or wharehouse or something?)and I got them all the time. I burned out on them that school year.

  10. Aw, MJ, that's really sweet, but it would cost a fortune to send them.
Jamie, Just Born's headquarters are in Bethlehem.

  13. As far as peeps go...

    1. I like them fresh, my husband likes them stale.
    2. Will only get chicks.
    3. Don't really care about the color, but since there are so many males in our house I usually don't buy pink.
    4. Must admit that peep-o-cide has been committed at our house. What can I say, I have all boys!
    5. Only at Easter.

As for the favorite Easter candy...I would have to go with peanut butter or coconut eggs. Yummm!

Hope everyone had a happy Easter!

  18. Aw, you guys are so sweet! Just the thought of munching a peep has made me so happy!

The USPS website says that first class mail to the UK starts at $.90 for one oz. I don't know how much a packet of peeps weighs, but not much I would think.

Could I be really cheeky and ask you to throw in a Reese's peanut butter egg too? :-)

  19. what's your address???
not sure what I can find after easter but I'll see what I can do.
you can email me at mfal@ptd.net if you don't want to post your address

  20. Let me know the cost MJ and we'll divide it up....

  21. OK Vicki I have good news and bad news. I went to the store today and got the last 2 boxes of yellow chick peeps now the bad news is there are no Resses eggs to be found. A box of peeps is 3 ounces so the postage shouldn't be too bad. As soon as I get your address I'll ship them off to ya. Oh and ENJOY!!!

  22. PEEPSPEEPSPEEPSPEEPSPEEPSPEEPS!!!!!

It's like Christmas all over again! You guys are the best! MJ, e-mailing you now!

  23. I was out this morning and Ukrops had boxes and boxes of Peeps(at 50% off!) I didn't grab any because I had this image of MJ buying a case of them and then you'd be swamped with Peeps. But hey...if you want them...I can run out and get them tomorrow. Not a problem. Let me know Vicki.

  24. Thanks Jamie. I think a case of peeps would be a bit too much (John says it's just enough!) I can imagine all of us in sugar overload, running around in circles, pulling our hair and screaming, "Peeps! Peeps!"
